Why does my Toyota Corolla fan stop working?
PS: Car is 2007 Toyota Corolla. It stopped working on a very cold day, my hands were freezing. PPS: Someone mentioned the possibility of the culprit being the blower motor’s “resistor” but I thought the resistor only controlled the fan speed. This fan will not work at any speed.
What should I do if my car fan is not working?
Blower still does not work. Checked continuity of 40 amp blower fuse; it’s okay. Checked most fuses for continuity in the PDC and Junction Box and they are okay. Note, there is no burnt or corroded wiring.
Why does my a / C front blower stop working?
No matter how many times (or position) the fan speed knob is moved, the front blower motor fails to respond. A/C system can be turned off and on multiple times, but the front blower fails to respond.
Why does my air conditioner fan not work?
PPS: Someone mentioned the possibility of the culprit being the blower motor’s “resistor” but I thought the resistor only controlled the fan speed. This fan will not work at any speed. It’s dead. Thanks. If its the resistor, the fan will still work on high.

What causes a car fan to run all the time?
If the relay shorts internally, it may cause power to be permanently switched on, which will cause the fans to run at all times. Depending on the wiring setup of the vehicle, this may cause them to stay on even when the vehicle is off, which will drain the battery.
Why does my AC fan only work on high?
Your AC only working on high probably has to do with the blower motor resistor. It controls the speed of your fan and if it brakes it will only work on high. Try replacing that resistor first to see if you regain control of the fan speeds.
