Why does my Honda Civic have no power?
I mean TOTALLY DEAD, no lights at all, cannot even open the trunk to get at the jumper cables! I also have an intermittent issue with the remote which has a new batter in it. This is a 2016 Honda Civic Touring with about 45k miles.
Why is my car not unlocking with the FOB?
The car battery is dead AND there is a problem with the physical linkage so the physical key doesn’t work. I’ve seen this problem reported enough that I pulled my door lock/unlock fuses to test if the physical key would work for me. Might be easier to open the hood by some method than to get the door unlocked.

Why is my FOB not working on my Honda?
It’s not an uncommon problem, the mechanical linkage for the physical key part of the lock isn’t connected properly when built and never worked, or worked itself loose over time and doesn’t work now.

Why are the power door locks on my Honda Odyssey not working?
There was no indication of the batteries in the key fobs dying, i.e. range didn’t shrink and there was no intermittent periods when they would work or wouldn’t work. To be safe, we are going to try to replace the batteries in both key fobs (if we can find them, apparently that battery is very popular or something).
