Why is the fuel filler not opening on my Saab?
Car is a 2008 9-5 Estate TiD Auto.. My Estate has a red tag in the cubby hole in the boot on the same side of the filler cap. If not there it might be worth removing the trim to see if it has dropped behind. Could be a fuse, switch, solenoid or even just a wire off.

How does the temp gauge work on a Saab?
No check engine lights are on or anything. When i started from cold after putting in the temp sensor the gauge was already reading at the quarter mark and went up when the car warmed up. The gauge should read all the way at the bottom and come up from there.

Tried using a screwdriver at first to push the pin back, but was worried I’d scratch the paint. Used a teaspoon in the end, and that did the trick.

Should be easy to find with a circuit tester and somebody pushing the switch.
