What causes Windows to open and sunroof to open?
A few people have had their interiors soaked by rain. The most common cause of the problem appears to be what I jokingly call “Tight Pants Syndrome”, i.e. an object in a pocket (or purse) pushing and holding the unlock button causing the windows and sunroof to open.
Can a car be unlocked with the sunroof open?

It’s actually a convenience factor built into the fob. It’s so you can have the hot car “air out” in the heat before you arrive at the car door. Nice if you have black interior as it cools it off a bit before you sit in it. I am surprised that someone could do this unintentionally.
