Is there a water leak on my Saab 9-3?
This is based on my 9-3 Aero MY’03 model but should be the same for other models. This is a ‘how to’ guide for fixing a water leak on the 9-3 saloon and cab. Background, my car sprung a leak, I noticed this when I jet washed it.

Are there any changes to the Saab 9-3?
Saab announced that 1,100 changes were made for the Saab 9-3, including sleeker styling, an improved suspension, and upgraded safety features. All U.S. Saab 9-3s featured turbocharged engines as standard.
Why does my Saab have a wet footwell?
A wet footwell is usually the result of a blockage in the channel running at the bottom of the windscreen – often due to a buildup of leaves. Water cannot then run down to the ground behind the front wheels and ends up in the car instead.

What kind of filter does a 9-3 Saab use?
New filter (best one euro parts did, made in Germany and a roll of Marine spec rubber seal). Although no footwell leaks, amps blowing up yet. I thought prevention was better than cure. Glad I changed it all as the old filter was well skanky, cabin smelt a bit musty and the old seal on the filter carrier was almost non existent.
