Is the Renault Clio having a starting problem?
It seems this is the current 1st choise for Renault clio that have the intermitent starting issue. I am am also in a similiar position with my car, the are a couple of suggestions of possible reasons to the problem, but i will explain the situation. The car was starting fine, and i drove about 5 miles.
Why does my Renault Clio light keep flashing?
The guy who made the post mentioned that if the light is flashing quickly the fault may be a key fob or aerial problem. If the light stays on then it could be the relays in the box on the nearside front corner of the engine compartment may be damaged/corroded.
Where is the female socket on a Renault Clio?
The female socket on the ecu which is situated in the engine bay and is bolted to the back of the engine. The pins on this socket rot away leading to a bad connection. We had loads of problems with my wifes 2003 clio 1.2 16v and this was the cause.
