What is KTM 50 fuel ratio?
Manual says 60:1 with a high quality oil but that sounds a little light on the oil. I use amsoil dominator racing oil. My buddy uses 32:1 in his kids bike but it smokes a lot.

I would say in MX and off road 2 strokes that 32:1 was the norm 30 years ago. Most bikes were steel or cast iron cylinders or sleeves back then. Now probably 50:1 is the norm with newer KTM ‘s, at least in the woods from what I read here.

I just picked up a left over 10′ KTM 65 SX for my sun and was looking at the fuel/oil mixture. His old KX65 I did 32:1 but noticed KTM is saying 60:1? I was planning on running Repsol full synthetic but little worried about running 60:1. What ratio are you guys running? 32-1 is what we ran in our 65’s and never had any engine issues

Conversely, if your bike runs too lean on a 32:1 gas/oil mix and you switch to 50:1 (less oil) it will run richer. That’s why you should run the oil mix suggested by the manufacture, assuming the manufacture got the jetting right, or re-jetting if you change the gas/oil ratio.
