What kind of oil do you use on an old Johnson 5?
Regular motor oil in those days didn’t have detergents, or a slew of other additives. Today, it’s probably much safer to stick with the 2-stroke oils. Don’t let the urgent displace the important… I’m not sure if the old 5 had a bushed small end but oils are way better now then then.
