Why is there no heat in the cabin?
Doing a quick search it appears that the heater valve usually causes problems on one side of the cabin not both and I don’t have warm air anywhere in the cabin including the back seat. The other thing that I found during my search on this forum is that it may be the auxiliary water pump.

You say no heat blows from those vents…but those vents have their own temp control dial (that some forget to move into the RED when they need heat). BTW…the aux water pump runs when you use the REST feature.

What should the cabin heat be on a BMW?
Set the cabin heat to 90 or so, then put your had on the aux pump motor and feel if it running. However that doesn’t mean it’s pumping coolant thru it. You can unplug the connector on the front by the solenoid valves, this will open both valves.
