Is there a CD changer for a monsoon radio?
Does anybody know if my car would be wired up to adapt this Monsoon system, i.e., the car is already wired for the 6 CD changer, just plug and play. Is the same available for the Monsoon (plug and play radio and amp), or will I need to rewire/forget the idea? Look in that left rear compartment where the CD-changer goes.
What kind of AMP does the monsoon system use?
The Monsoon system uses a 200 Watt external amp that supposedly provides discrete amplification to all 8 speakers. Si I gather I will need this 200W amp also. It’s not all that powerful, doesn’t have an upcoverting power supply as near as I can tell. The Monsoon radio is coded to be a “monsoon” and it is also coded with a car-code which I think applies an EQ curve tailored to that type of car.
