This strip is the beltine. The inner beltline would be on the inside of the window, and runs along the top of the door panel. The outer beltline runs along the outside of the window.

What do you use to wipe side windows?
An Original equipment style side window horizontal weatherstrip kit (also known as beltline weatherstrip). This four (4) piece kit includes inner and outer felt beltline weatherstrips for each door. These strips wipe the side windows when the glass is lowered.
How do you remove the window seal on a corvette?
With the door unlocked, pry the end of the slide outward and it should pop off. Once the slide is off, you will need to lock the door manually and push the lock rod up and out of the way of the door handle trim. Now you can remove the door panel by lifting it up.
