What to do if your chainsaw dies when it’s Hot?
Check for this problem the next time your saw dies when it’s hot. Unscrew the gas cap, vent the gasses and try to restart your saw. If it starts you have vapor lock, and will need to carefully inspect the fuel tank’s vent hole to see if it is plugged or damaged. Clean this hole with a brush and rag.

Why does my truck run bad when it is really warm?
If it is telling the ECM that your engine is cold but it is really warm, it can cause it to run poorly. Usually, if the ECT sensor was bad, the truck would restart after the engine cooled down. I wonder if the cat is plugged. You should remove the 02 sensor from the exhaust manifold and try to start it.

Why does my Husqvarna chain saw not start when hot?
It’s either the carburetion or the coil. Going through the troubleshooting procedure does require a knowledge of engine theory and will take 45 minutes to complete. Place the Husqvarna chain saw on a hard level surface. Start the engine and let it run until it gets hot.
