Only drawback is that the 2009 model lost the separate opening rear hatch window, and big blind spots due to ridiculously small porthole of a window on the rear pillar. Overall, this car was a winner for Pontiac. Too bad they never promoted it the right way.

What kind of gas mileage does Pontiac Vibe get?
The low-end torque of the larger engine made the Vibe feel more eager on the inclines and, needless to say, made it easier to accelerate up to highway speeds. Quality is excellent. 36 mpg highway and around 29-30 city. Very peppy. New Pirelli Scorpion tires greatly improves ride and handling.
