What does p0010 mean on a torque pro?
We recommend Torque Pro. Code P0010 is defined as “Camshaft position (CMP) actuator, intake/left/front, bank 1 circuit malfunction”, and is set when a fault is detected in the electrical circuit that controls the variable valve/cam timing system.
What causes no start on Pontiac G6 CYL?
A condition has been identified that could cause a NO crank/No communication on the LE5-4 cyl engine. This condition has been identified as a loose ground G105 behind the A/C compressor. Remove the bolt from G105 and clean the engine block surface. You should also make sure the terminal is tight after the bolt is tightened up.

Why does my son’s 08 G6 not start?
My son’s 08 G6 will not start or even try to turn over. It shows error on odometer after all needles have swung on the cluster.I searched the forum for solutions and tried some to no avail.
What does error code p0010 mean on HHR?
This HHR had a had error code P0010 . Replacing the exhaust cam position actuator solenoid valve fixed it.Variable valve timing solenoid valve. But I went age and replaced Both Solenoids. if you want to help out the channel, just use my Amazon link when sopping at amazon. Follow me on twitter. https://www.instagram.com/falcons_hob…
What are the actuators on a Pontiac G6?
The Pontiac G6 utilizes camshaft actuators to change the valve lift depending on the RPM of the motor. This allows for a more efficient cam profile at any speed. This increases engine efficiency and power. Camshaft Position Actuators change the lift of the camshaft up to 25 degrees.
When did p0013 come up on my car?
I had P0013 (Exhaust Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Control Circuit) come up after finishing a 5 hour drive about a year ago. Basically I cleared the code, drove back to Toronto with no problems. Code hasnt come back and I’ve put about 10,000km more on it.
How to fix engine code p0010 on 2.4L?
Just remove the hold-down bolts & pull up on the actuators. Put engine oil on the new o-rings & don’t over-torque the hold-down bolts (torque spec is only 7 ft-lbs). The actuators are keyed differently (& have different part numbers) so you can’t interchange them.
What’s the p0023 code on my Malibu?
I got a p0023/p0014 code on my 09 malibu. Changed the exhaust solenoid and reset light. Went to store and light came back on!!! What’s my next to do to fix this!!! Are your connectors in good shape to your Solenoids? Also, are you low on oil? What viscocity do you use? Has it been changed recently?
What does p0013 stand for in car code?
A P0013 code refers to the VVT (variable valve timing) or VCT (variable camshaft timing) components and the car’s PCM (powertrain control module) or ECM (engine control module). VVT is a technology used in the engine to allow it to get greater power or efficiency at different running points.
What does DTC p0013 stand for in PCM?
The PCM has the ability to monitor the functionality of the high control and the low reference circuit. If the PCM detects an open, a short to ground, or a short to voltage, DTC P0013 sets. The “B” camshaft refers to the exhaust, right, or rear camshaft (looking at the engine from the drivers seat).

Why does my Pontiac G6 have a p0010 trouble code?
If your G6 has the P0010 trouble code it will typically not pass the State emissions tests. The Pontiac G6 utilizes camshaft actuators to change the valve lift depending on the RPM of the motor. This allows for a more efficient cam profile at any speed. This increases engine efficiency and power.
What does the code p0016 mean on an engine?
P0016 refers to which camshaft position sensor is out of time with the Crankshaft. P0016 should be considered an important trouble code to diagnose and repair. The crank and cam sensors work in tandem to produce the ideal air/fuel ratio for your engine. When this timing is off, the engine will typically not run (or barely run)

What does trouble code p0011 mean on a car?
The camshaft (s) is (are) adjusted by the ECM through the use of an oil control valve (s) (OCV) also called variable valve timing control solenoid valves. When trouble code P0011 is set, it means that the intake camshaft in Bank 1 is more advanced than the ECM has told it to be.
What should I do if I find a p0011 set?
If the initial P0011 sets and other codes are present then erase all codes and do five camshaft drive cycles and then re-investigate which codes come back. If any of these codes are present disregard and erase. If they come back it is electrical wiring or connection failure.
