Why is my Peugeot 307 HDI anti pollution fault?
The car is used 95% on the motorway and always filled up to the brim and run down until the light comes on. Also due a service in the next 2000 miles. On the way to work today, the engine went lumpy and the car juddered. I pulled over and the engine management light came on, also an error then appeared as ‘Anti Pollution Fault’.
How much does it cost to change a Peugeot filter?
This needs changing at 50k supposedly, and this car has just hit 60k. So a new filter from peugeot is around £600 (+vat and labour). plus 5 litres of the fluid (£30 a litre) and supposedly only peugeot can help. We’re up to our head with it now, both cars being garaged, this one for what seems like the MOST ridiculous of reason.

Fault seems to have been cleared by the replacement of the air flow meter. fingers cross it has worked! How did you find Peugeot Central?: Google common fault on all these cars, there as been reports that total petrol station cause alot off these problems but ive been told it is a fueling fault.

Foolishly I chose to ignore the P1425 thinking it may be something and nothing or related to me unplugging the temp sensor in the dpf. I thought id cracked it. The following day i thought it was okay until i started to boot it. once i exceeded a certain speed/revs the anti pollution fault and management light flagged again.

Cleaned the rust , put a washer under the sensor so it san within a hairs distance from the wheel and the fault went. The clean diesel filter degenerated to anti pollution and limp mode!!! I checked the hoses at the pressure sensor end and all were clear. I ruled our the sensor as it was new 6 months ago but bought one as a just in case .

Just thought id share my anti pollution fault experience on here incase it may help others with similar symptoms as we all know anti pollution can be so many things. It started with diesel additive min level warning , a few weeks later followed by ‘Anti pollution Fault’ and the management light on the instruments.
When does anti pollution fault on Peugeot 307 come out?
I own a 207sw (2009) 1.6 diesel and when I go uphill at more than 2000rpm the anti pollution fault comes out. This happened already 2 times and the only way to remove the fault is to drive in 2nd or in 3rd gear in 3000rpm range for about 5 minutes. The error will disappear as soon as you start again.
