Where is the coolant temp sensor on a Peugeot 307?
Coolant temp sensor is the most common failure on these. Located on the stat housing. It is a push fit with an o ring and securing clip. A faulty CTS lets coolant out through into the multi plug then up the wiring harness. Creates a wiring short circuit hence the screwy reading on the panel/gauge.
What’s the problem with the coolant in a Peugeot 307?
The main one is the coolant temperature. On the dash, after around 10 mins, the indicator flies up to max and the STOP sign beeps on the dash. It doesnt stay there permanently – it drops down below half way from time to time only to shoot back up.
How did you find Peugeot 307 water pump?
O yeah forgot to mention it started tonight bleeping saying stop top up coolant fluid and like i said coolant is at max in the header tank so uncliped the plug and it stopped put it back on and bleeping again… Re: Water pump? Overheating fault How did you find Peugeot Central?: MSN
When to change coolant and thermostat in a car?
Changing the coolant on a 2002 Peugeot 406 HDi 110 with the 2.0 DW10ATED engine. The car was not overheating, or loosing water i was changing the coolant just as a routine service item, and while i was at it i changed the thermostat also.
