Why does my Peugeot 307 have a theft warning?
Since yours is 307 and having same issues with what happened to mine then you know its key issues. What the system is trying to tell you is that the transponder (microchip) is not been recognized by your ECU. Hence the system is seeing it as a theft from an intruder trying to use another key to steal your car.

What’s the best way to reset a RT3?
the other thing you need to do is: RT3 soft reset and hard reset Soft reset: press and hold the “dark” button for 12 seconds and let the unit restart. Is there a problem with my Peugeot 407?
A few weeks ago, a customer of mine had the same problem on his Peugeot 407, he took the car to Peugeot dealer and they tried a new screen on and it worked, so his problem was with the display, i have supplied him with a second hand display cause he couldn’t afford a new one ( £1600 ) and everything is working ok, sat-nav, radio, cd…etc
