Is the depollution system on my Peugeot 407 faulty?
The depollution system faulty and engine light comes up on my Peugeot 407, also there is a slight fluctuation in boost pickup, seems like wastegate opens and closes, it has been diagnosed and had 2 new boost solenoids fitted but there is no change. Does anyone have any ideas ? Boost is good after initial fluctuations and drives fine overall.
Where does the piping go in a Peugeot 407?
Piping takes the vac to the brake servo and the turbo control solenoids. So check the small diameter pipe from the vac pipe to the turbo control solenoid and down to the turbo for cracks/leaks. But to be honest new pipe cost so little I usually just replace all the piping.

Seems this is actually caused by the differential pressure sensor being faulty. A common fault by all accounts. I got one from Peugeot at around �40 inc VAT. Fitted it. Obeying the 3 min rule (remembering to open the bonnet first).
Why is the plastic pipe melting on my HDi 110?
Using global check pp2000 also suggests the fuel additive system is ok too. Why is the plastic pipe melting. I thought maybe the pressure is too much and heated gases had travelled up the pipe and melted it. Upon removing the pipe at the sensor end I found the short rubber hose had split just below where the jubilee clip went on.

On the screen is showing depollution system faulty. I have a 307 cc 1.6 petrol. Olso the engine tempreture stoped showing any information. After you switch off the engine the fan countinue working for at least 5 minutes. Do you have the same problems

Is the replacement pollution sensor the same as the original?
The replacement sensor differed slightly to the original and i was led to believe it was’ improved’ and that they sold loads. however it retained the same connections. Refitting was simple just required some small jubilees as the original clips from the hoses were not reusuable in my instance.
