A friend of mine did some research and found a service bulletin #12-041 that came out around Nov. 2012 pertaining to Civics. The fix is simple – the dealership has to upgrade the car’s software with PGM-FI software. The software helps the car determine your driving habits and makes adjustments so the alternator continues to charge the battery.
