What should the coolant level be on a Nissan?
Iv noticed this problem since the day i bought my nissan. The engine coolant level was well below the “low” line. I add more and a few weeks later the same thing happens; engine coolant level is below low.
Why does my Nissan 3.5 V6 keep losing coolant?
My 3.5 V6 has a freeze plug that leaks a little now and then mostly in the winter time when the climate is cold – I think there is more thermal gradients on the block during warm-ups in the winter time which causes it to seep now and then.
What to do if coolant comes out of radiator?
Check the dipstick and underside of the cap, you can drain some if you want just make sure your draining it into something that your going to be able to see if there is contamination. As for the radiator, just pull the cap the oil should be right on top of the water if there is any.
Why is coolant blowing out of my Altima?
Coolant can follow alot of of paths, and may not be visible. I just purchased my Altima 2 weeks ago, the head gasket was blown. This one would not start there was so much coolant blowing into the combustion chamber. The hoses at the throttle body could be leaking, best bet is to pressure test.
