Can You overfill a skyline gearbox with oil?

Filler holes on gearboxes and diffs are always positioned so that you can fill them to the maximum because they usually don’t have dipsticks that tell you how much oil is in there. An engine is not a gearbox…two completely different things. You cannot overfill a Skyline gearbox with oil as long as you are filling it through the filler plug.
