Why is my Nissan Gu patrol Ute ignition not working?
Turned the ute off and parked it up for 4 days, came back home put my key in the ignition and the key wont work in the barrel any more, it wont turn past lock .got a new key cut and tried that, ive put it down to a worn out ignition barrel. Using your power lock switch , lock all doors. After doors are locked take your Ignition Key and insert it and remove it from ignition switch in a slow fashion , but consitant pace. (97 and earlyer are fast) When you see the hazzard lights flash, put key in ignition switch and turn to the On postion .. Do NOT CRANK or you will have to Start over ..

Why is my 2001 guii St patrol not starting?
I am unable to start my 2001 GUII St patrol . A auto electrician said the problem was my key had lost its code, it was coroded inside & would have to be replaced. He had a locksmith prepare a new key, but it still did not work. The computer code still showed a fault with the immobiliser.
