How do you remove blend door actuator on Nissan Alti?

Has anyone found or know of a quick way to get to this without tearing apart the dash? I know on some vehicles you can use a hot knife and cut away at the vents and access that way, not sure on Alti.

Where is the blend door actuator on a manual AC system?

Those are the actuators on the manual AC system. The mix/blend door actuator is reached by removing the glove box trim strip on the right, then remove the screws around the glove box, disconnect the wire connector and remove the box. Inside you will see a duct connection that you need to remove and the blend actuator is behind it.

How to reassemble a Nissan air mix door?

To reassemble take the bottom half with the motor, one gear and encoder (blue thing with 3 pins) and the top half with the half-gear and 2more gears. Putting it back together takes some patience but it can only fit one way;-)
