Is the Nissan Maxima a good value for money?
Excellent car, excellent value! Only negative is the turning radius. 3 point turns and squeezing around tight spots (i.e. parking lots) can be tricky at times. Othewise, this is a great car at a great price. Holds up well, repairs are minimal.

Basically the Malibu’s ALL started shaking, rattling, needed “front end” work..ballbearings needed repaired, brakes/rotors…you name it…all went after about 24K to 26K..the Altimas didn’t need any repairs until into thier 30K’s. Fun car, HORRIBLE turn ratio! I have always driven Honda’s.

The seating is quite comfortable. Update: My Altima has 151000 miles on it now, with no major issues. The engine still has a lot of power, but it is a bit noisier and burns a little oil. Bought the car with 28,000 miles on it and my wife put 40,000 miles on it in about 7 years.

In March of this year I bought a 2017 Nissan Maxima, a few months after buying it the battery needed to be replaced. Just a couple days ago I was driving on the freeway and the check engine light, battery light and oil light came on and the car shut off while I was driving. Luckily I was able to safely coast my car to the side of the freeway.
