Where is the block heater plug on a Nissan Altima?

My block heater plug is located on the lower grill, passenger side. There is a plug cover that is attached to one of the vertical posts and it holds the plug in place, not just dangling around in front. All Canadian altimas (at least here in Calgary) that I have seen have the plug located here.

How many Watts Does a Nissan club block heater pull?

If all you care about is getting your car started on cold morning an 1-1/2 Amp, on board battery charger can be installed both fast and cheap ($25-$30 @ Fleet Farm) it only pulls about .7 Amp which translates into about 84 Watts @ 120V as opposed to 400-750 Watts for a block heater.

Where is the 3 prong cord on a Nissan club?

The black 3 prong cord is located on the left side of the engine bay. I’m thinking it’s a geographical thing on whether it is standard or not. Sorry, I don’t know about installing one.
