Because the electrical designers were noob interns without adequate adult supervision and nobody pointed out that owners were gong to be suckered in for YEARS to use those available studs for jump-starting instead of reading the manual and doing it properly.

The driver and front passenger door power window switches are inoperative. Didn’t try the back doors. Midgate window does work from switch on the overhead console. Seat heater and all buttons on the driver & front passenger door are dead.
