How to install a driver side assist handle?
Being careful of the airbag (if equipped) press the center clip back up into the middle slot of the A pillar. It’s no longer needed. 2) place the bottom of the new handle A pillar cover in where you just removed the old cover from… pushing gently as you go. Now line up the left edge in the door seal and guide it inward and up into the seal.
Is there a roof grab handle on the drivers side?
Click to expand… GM could have put a roof grab handle on the drivers side if the concern was visual obstruction on the drivers side. I had them on my Gen 1 Colorado.
