The issue is when driving when it hits 3000 RPM its like it hit a REV limiter. when in park again like it hit a REV limiter. When starting it take longer then it should to start (about 5sec of crank).

Have. 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5l..just changed camshaft sensors and 02 sensor, now the car doesnt accelerates correctly. Im deaf and cant hear any noise in/from the engine. The car accelreated fine before the sensors replacement….should i reuse the old sensors or is the acceleration a new problem.

When it finally reaches 40 I up the gear to 4th. Thinking about it now the over revving seems to happen when i change gear. The car takes a good few seconds to gain any speed. I was wondering if there was a mechanic online who might have a rough idea of the cause.
