It idles perfectly, but when I step on the gas, I get almost no reaction. It does increase RPM about 200, but that is all. When I first start the car, the accelerator works for the first five to eight seconds, which leads me to think it is some kind of sensor.

(Not trying to be mean, just using that as an example skylinedreams) But aparently they can do that, cause that’s what mine ended up being. You can go up to any parts store and pick up a fuel pressure gauge and test fuel pressure. If it’s low, it could be the pump, the fuel pressure regulator being stuck open or the filter clogged.
