Where is the brake light switch on a Sentra?
Brake Light switch , they are 2 sensors on the brake pedal , the black one is brake light switch (Top sensor )it’s really easy to changed , just twist the sensor and it will pop out . You can also take it out with wiring still connected and try to start the car .
Why does the push button start on my Sentra not work?
I have a 2016 Nissan Sentra SV and it was doing the same took it too nissan dealership they replaced the brake switch everything ok for about 12 months then when the weather changed it has started doing it again! Took back to dealership and he adjusted the brake switch under the pedal said that should do it!

Why is my brake light not turning off?
when there is no pressure on the pedal, it is pressing the button in. when you press the pedal down, the switch no longer touches the plastic piece. when that plastic piece disintegrates (which all nissans do) the switch can no longer be turned off. that is your problem.
