56 people found this helpful. I have a 2015 altima with the same sporadic acceleration issue. Every once and a while it has poor acceleration from stop and very occasionally it revs high rpm without shifting. I solve the high rpm issue by stopping, turning the car off and waiting 15 seconds before restarting.
Why does my Nissan Altima not accelerate when the light turns green?
Sometimes when a red light and when the light turns green i put my foot on gas pedal and car would not move for few seconds and then finally it would go. Sometimes i have to pull to the side and turn off and the car and restart so it reboots because the car does not accelarate normally at all no matter how many times i try to accelerate.
