Why did my GMC Terrain wiper bushing pop off?
2010 GMC Terrain wiper linkage main arm to motor actuator popped off. Ordered these to replace ‘worn out’ bushings. Identical to original linkage bushings, but were ultimately not the fix. Arm popped off again almost immediately after using wipers.

*Stop by your Nissan dealer and get 5 or so of the push connectors that hold tha plastic down over the motor and linkage assembly. You will probably break a few on disassembly. Good luck! The Murano linkage assembly goes for $130 to over $200 depending on where you find it. This is a great $6 alternative.

Once you get it started with the prybar, you can finish it off by hand by pulling it away from the windsheild: Now you have exposed the linkage. Remove the 3 10mm bolts holding it in place: Once its loose, you can manipulate it to a better position to reach the plug for the wiper motor. Unplug it and then wiggle the linkage out of the car.
Can a Dorman bushing fit a Subaru Murano?
By the way, the Dorman bushings do press into the links if you warm them in hot water (careful!) but the ball that presses into the bushing at the pivots and motor pops out far too easily…..go the Subaru parts department route if you can get the guy to find the right parts….. I have a Murano (2011). The info says it does not fit.

*I used two metal wrench sockets on each side and a vice to press the plastic into place. *Stop by your Nissan dealer and get 5 or so of the push connectors that hold tha plastic down over the motor and linkage assembly. You will probably break a few on disassembly. Good luck!
