Why is oil leaking from the front of my Nissan Maxima?
Depending on the location, if it is near the front, around the oil pan area, it may be the Oil Pressure Sensor (OPS). If the car is running and you see an oil drip in that area, the pressurized oil system will push the leak out of this sensor (they crack easily). Look at the oil pan as well and see if it looks damaged in any way (dented).

What should I do if I have an oil leak in my car?
