How do you replace a tappet on a Nissan ZD30?
With the ZD30s, I have done a few. You have to be on top of engine so in engine bay. Press down on the outside of the bucket. Spin the shim so that the little hole is on the inside and with an air blower blow air into that hole. Pressure will blow the shim out and you easily slide the new shim in. I have never seen an RD28 tappets.
