What happens when the engine of a truck dies?
The mechanic has the truck again and they can’t figure out what’s wrong. When you try to start the truck after it has died, it starts to “start” but then it kind of shakes/vibrates and dies like its not getting fuel. Please help me!!

Why is my PowerStroke diesel engine not restarting?
The P0407 was an Exhaust Backpressure Sensor Fault. Suggested fixes are the EBP sensor, or the APP (Accellerator Pedal Sensor). I tried cranking the truck with the accelerator in various positions, no difference.

What to do if your car starts and then dies?
If not, test the MAF sensor to see if it’s gone bad and replace if necessary. If you use an aftermarket air intake, make sure you don’t apply too much oil on the air filter. Excessive oil may blow past the filter and gum up the MAF sensor.
