How do you put a Nissan Versa in reverse?
The trick is that there is a ring under the hand control knob. To engage reverse gear you have to press this ring upwards and then press the switch to the far left in front. The reverse gear should now be engaged with your Nissan and the vehicle should then roll backwards.
Why is the hatch on my Nissan Versa not opening?
I can confirm that the front passenger door lock actuator is the culprit of the hatch not opening. The repair is not difficult at all. Took me half an hour. However, the hatch will only open if the passenger door is open for some reason. It is not tied into the latch.

Why does my versa HB not open the trunk?
I have a Versa 2009 SL HB and the trunk doesn’t open with the keyless entry or using the button latch. Going to try and fix. Can post images and guide but first wanted to get feedback from you guys.

If you can get inside the drivers door or have somebody do it for you, there may be a bad connection on your wiring harness to the door lock actuator.
