Why do car washes put a bag on the rear wiper?
Polyethylene bag designed to protect the rear wiper blade on sport utility vehicles. It keeps the soft cloth wrap around brushes from catching in the blade and tearing it off.
How do you protect your rear windshield wipers in a car wash?
My car wash has always been using these long narrow clear plastic bags on every vehicle with a rear wiper. They bag the blade and arm before the wash and remove it at the other side. Kind of like safe sex for your wiper.

Why does my car washer have a low fluid level?
Depending on the design of your car’s washer fluid system, a low fluid level could still be the cause. If it has been particularly cold out, you may have a frozen line. You should always try to use fluid that is rated for the coldest conditions of your climate.
What to do if your windshield washer is clogged?
You can check the nozzle in back to ensure that it’s clear, but outside of that, your washer system will likely need service work performed. Don’t try running other chemicals through your system to alleviate the clog as they could lead to further damage and they likely not fix the clog in the process anyway.
