Why does my Nissan Rogue make a wheezing noise?
At approximately 53,500 miles, while on a long trip, the vehicle started making a �wheezing� noise and experienced a loss of power. It continues to demonstrate the same behavior whenever the engine warms up. The Nissan dealership that I took it to said that the likely transmission problem was common in Nissan Rogues, muranos and versas.

The Rogue was �fixed� once but all was done is transmission fluid was changed in 08/2019. Now it’s one year later and same exact issues are occurring and they are refusing to fix again as a customer satisfaction. The car has approximately 85,000 miles.

Sometimes it rattles when we first start it and other times it does not. Once you start the engine, then turn it off it, then restart it, it nevers rattles. I can live with it but my wife hates it and if the wife ain’t happy, nobody’s happy.

They contacted the engineering department at Nissan, they were told only 1 other vehicle had ever exhibited these problems.
