What happens if VDC is off?
What happens when you turn off VDC? When you push the VDC OFF switch an indicator light will illuminate. If you have turned OFF the VDC system, it will turn back ON when you push its switch a second time. Also, when you turn OFF and then restart your vehicle, the system will automatically come on again.
Why are my VDC and SLIP lights still on?

Why are the VDC off and SLIP lights on at the same time?
Turn off the car and re-start it and go for a drive above 19MPH and the lights will turn off and remain off if there is no fault, if the fault is still present the lights will turn back on until the error is fixed. It’s how I figured what my problem is.
