What happens when I jump start my Honda Accord?

When I get a jump start, it starts instantly. If i stop the engine immediately and then try restarting, it starts correctly, as if everything is okey. One more observation, the jump start resets the clock/ radio of the car. After couple of days the radio goes blank.

Is the Honda Accord starter an OEM starter?

Car had just passed 36k and american honda will not reimburse for the work done because it was not a honda dealership, but it was oem starter. Bad starters on these cars.
