I have found YZ 125s very prone to having shift levers come loose, which causes really sloppy shifting. To solve this problem, I replace the cheesy stock bolt that clamps the shifter with a hardened cap bolt that you can really clamp on tight. It can still come loose, but not nearly as often as the stock bolt.
