Is the 110 inch engine the same as the Screamin Eagle?
JMHO. The 2007 P&A catalog shows the Stage I 110″ kit and claims it’s the same motor as the CVO Screamin Eagle bikes. The dyno chart for that kit shows 95 ft. lbs torque max @ 3500 rpm; and it falls rapidly after after 4000 rpm. Check out pages 536 an 537 of the catalog and the chart for kit 29909-07. That’s pathetic for a 110″.

Do you need domed heads for Screamin Eagle 110 heads?
All depends on where you want to take it. The cc’s of the 95cc chamber, can be readily addressed, as can the valve relief’s, but if planning on an increased cube build, a domed piston can aid in both of those areas. Im going to do a 107 build with a 590 cam and looking for 10.5:1 compression.
Can a 2007 HD engine be installed on a 2007 bike?
Despite what the local HD Dealer may tell them, only HD parts that are listed in the 2007 Catalog with a “green light” designation can be installed on their bikes without having a negative effect on the warranty.

No issues with the ’07 110″ FLHRSE3 here. Received the book about six weeks ago. Also received the letter noting my bike was elegible for the 0906 “enhancement” campaign. Since I was due for a major service interval I had the 0906 performed at the same time just to be safe — though I never had a problem.

They “work” on engines as small as 107″, with the proper cam, in touring, or Dyna application, but once ported, they are KILLERS, on 113″-124″ engines. They will bolt on but it’s not something your going to be happy with.
