Why is gas dripping out of my exhaust?
This is caused by excess fuel in the fuel/air mixture and it can be caused by a few different parts failing. The most likely parts causing these problems are a leaking fuel injector, a fuel regulator that’s stuck closed, or a restricted fuel return line.

Most likely, it’s a piece of dirt/detritus/crap holding a float valve open, combined with the petcock being in the “prime” position, or the “on” position if it’s a non-vacuum-operated petcock.
What does it mean when your scooter has fuel pouring out the exhaust?
Not sure what type/make scooter, but if fuel is pouring out the exhaust, sounds like your needle and seat (inside the carb) is stuck open. Fuel out the exhaust (if it’s a two stroke) is another concern.
