Can you adjust hydraulic valves?
To adjust the exhaust valves a similar procedure is used. Turn the engine over until the intake pushrod moves all the way up. Rotate just past maximum lift, where the intake will begin to close. New hydraulic lifters shouldn’t be pumped up yet, so you should be able to spin the pushrod with some resistance.

Do you lock down pushrod for rear cylinder?
Lock down the pushrod and repeat for the rear cylinder. DO NOT TRY TO MAKE SHORTCUTS IN THIS PROCESS. Proper bleeding down of tappets, is critical for healthy running motors. Damage to motor will happen not following these instructions.
