What should I do if my Honda stator is weak?
Note that as written this system will bypass the CDI portion of your ignition system (if present) and replace it with a more traditional one. I devised this system when the stator on my Honda XR-100 got so weak that it couldn’t power the spark plug, preventing the engine from running.

What happens if one winding of a stator fails?
Some stators will be broken down into two, three, four, or even six halves! Meaning, that one winding will produce the electricity that is used for one, two, or three different cylinders! So, if one winding will fail. The engine will lose spark on one or all of those cylinders.
