How much does a Suzuki Boulevard M50 cost?
I got a great deal back in Dec. ’15 on a 2013 Suzuki m50 with 1 mile on the odometer ($5000, incl. a cheap helmet that I’ve since replaced). I love it, but rides over 50 miles wear me out and I don’t know why.
What kind of problem does the M50 Boulevard have?
I have a 2013 Suzuki M50 boulevard. The other day on the freeway I experienced a loud noise coming from the engine and it seized up immediately. Is anybody else had this problem and what did you do to fix it?
How many holes to drill in Suzuki Boulevard muffler?
Its easy, saves money and sounds better. Drill four 12 mm holes in a cross pattern on each muffler back plate, put each hole about half way between the centre pipe and the outside diameter of the muffler equally around the back plate. That produces a louder, more bass exhaust note without being to raucous.
Is the Suzuki Boulevard C50T the same as the M50?
Although the two motorcycles look quite different from each other, they share many components, including a single-shock frame and drivetrain. They also have the same 4.1-gallon fuel tank, same-size wheels and tires and staggered exhaust systems with dual slash-cut mufflers. There are minor differences in the engine.
What’s the difference between an M50 and a M50?
The newer M50 has slightly different rocker-arm shafts, which necessitate different breather covers, which in turn require small cylinder-head changes. It also uses split crankshaft bearings that slightly change the crankcase, which is painted black.
What’s the difference between a marauder and a S50?
The slim, chopperish Intruder-style 800s thus become the S50. The classically styled Volusia morphs into the C50, and the all-new M50 replaces the Marauder. There is also a new fourth model, the C50T, which adds touring accoutrements to the C50. The labels are a bit lame; the motorcycles are anything but.
What kind of engine does a Suzuki C50T have?
Suzuki offsets its 800s’ crankpins by 45 degrees, which in conjunction with the 45-degree V-angle gives it vibration characteristics similar to a 90-degree V-twin, the smoothest V-twin configuration. This doesn’t provide the classic cadence of a 45-degree V-twin, but it makes for a vibe-free engine without the use of power-sucking counterbalancers.
