How to jack up Buell blast?
Put a small jackstand under the right rear Y-arm (right in front of the passenger peg) as high up as it will go with the bike leaned on the stand. Jack up the rear of the transmission, letting the bike “lift” on the Y arm.

Get a service manual, well worth the money. tool for rear axle is in your stock tool kit. Easy jerb, but buy a FSM. The service manual is the best 52.20 you will ever spend if you work on your own bike.
