My brother bought out a guy who used to have a snowmobile shop years ago and this was with it, along with several other OMC motors. it is a Canadian Curtis Wright for sure,looks like it might be out of a rupp,but i dont remember them with mikuni carbs.Might be out of a Deere too.

I picked up some old snowmobiles and parts and one of the engines I have never seen before, it has CCW on the recoil. If anyone has any information on these and what snowmobiles they came in I would appreciate it. I did look them up a little bit on the internet and come up with alot of Raider snowmobile stuff.

What kind of compression does a snowmobile have?
It has really good compression but only has fire on one side. One pickup coil under the flywheel is damaged. It has CCW marked on the starter but no other numbers anywhere. Can anyone tell me what I have?
