Why does the exhaust pop on my 07 ultra?
Decel popping is very common. You need to add a Power Commander or Vance and Hines FP3 in order to eliminate this. The m/c needs to be tuned. My 07 Ultra Classic has a Power Commander with true duels and O2 sensor bypass harness and have the same exhaust pop.

How can I tell if my Harley Davidson sprocket is loose?
Open up the inspection cover and pry the sprocket in both directions while watching the rotor , they should both move together . If the sprocket moves in either direction but the rotor doesn’t then the nut is loose . I’d start by looking at the primary chain tension.
