And I know the kill switch is bad so I ordered a new one but three wires are cut on the pigtails, one has 2 red/black wires cut and the mother has just the red/white wire cut. I know I can solder the red/white back together but does it matter which red/black wire goes to which end or are those both just a power supply and doesn’t matter?

Do you need to close the wiring on a Kill Switch?
